This site is built to share up to date information with the community. There are always many events, fundraisers and information happening. So the information had to be designed so all information was accessible easily for all levels of users.

 

Featured Updates:

  • Custom categories for automatic index page population
  • Custom sidebars for individual pages to share even more information
  • Featured image gallery to detail the the most recent events
  • Calendar integration
  • Custom forms so the use of paper distribution is now obsolete (Green School Designation)

We used the Studio Press theme News theme and customized to fit the needs of the organization. The website was set up as a CMS so it is easy to transition between the volunteer webmasters. The use of WordPress make is user friendly for the Content Manager.

The site was created to promote the new venture of a community farm in a suburb of Detroit. The site’s purpose was to inform the public about the farm, promote the fundraising events and collect donations. The site was customized to fit all these needs.
